We recognise that obtaining cultural support and advice from Traditional Owners in the built environment can be difficult. At Muru Mittigar, we faciliate and manage the enegagement of Traditional Owners with guiding your organisation and Connecting with Country. Our advisory services are designed to assist clients in navigating the complex challenges associated with working with Country, community, and culture. Rather than outlining a full project and deliverable, we offer flexible options to provide ad hoc or ongoing advice and guidance.

About the Framework

The NSW Connecting with Country Framework is a comprehensive guide designed to integrate First Nations cultural knowledge into the planning, design, and delivery of built environment projects in New South Wales. It emphasises the First Nations philosophy that "If we care for Country, Country will care for us," promoting sustainable land and water use. The framework encourages collaboration with Aboriginal communities to protect cultural heritage and ensure that infrastructure projects are developed with a Country-centered approach
